The Lord is mindful of our refugee brothers and sisters as well as our Stake's efforts to serve them. You should expect to see many miracles as you prayerfully participate in Youth Conference this coming week!
If fact, we're already witnessing miracles. Carol McConkie (Bonneville II Ward service group leader) was at a General YW Board meeting last week when a fellow board member started telling her that a group of church members felt inspired to make 29 children's quilts and deliver them to the Administration Building saying simply that "someone in this building needs these quilts." Carol's immediate response when she heard this story was "We need them!"
These beautiful quilts will be available to ALL service groups and will be distributed on Thursday afternoon in the cultural hall after the devotional.
